Kaspa — Nano-Scale Settlement

NanoSettle.
The Economy
of the
Infinitely Small.

Transactions too small to exist on any prior network are now possible. Kaspa's blockDAG brings sub-cent settlement to IoT, AI, and the machine economy.

The Concept

The Economy Beneath Every Economy

A nanosettlement is a transaction so small it has never been economically viable — until now. We are not talking about micropayments. We are talking about nano-payments: the settlement of value at the scale of individual sensor readings, single API calls, one millisecond of compute, a fraction of a data packet.

These transactions exist. Their value is real. But every payment network in history has had a floor — a minimum fee below which settling is more expensive than what you are settling. Kaspa removes that floor.

With 10 blocks per second and near-zero transaction fees, Kaspa enables nano-scale settlements that were computationally possible but economically impossible on any prior network. The DAGKnight upgrade targets sub-100 millisecond block intervals — matching the cadence of IoT sensors, autonomous systems, and AI inference cycles.

The Scale

What Nano Actually Means

Nano = 10⁻⁹. One billionth. The transactions enabled by Kaspa operate at a scale where traditional payment rails cannot go. Consider what becomes economically real:

$0.000001
Per IoT sensor data point sold to a data marketplace
$0.00001
Per AI inference settled directly to the model provider
$0.0001
Per API call billed to an autonomous AI agent
$0.001
Per second of compute billed in a distributed AI network

None of these transactions work on Bitcoin (10-min blocks), Ethereum (variable gas), or traditional finance (minimum fees). All of them work on Kaspa.

Kaspa's mission is to create a proof-of-work that operates with internet speed — combining the reliability of proof-of-work with the responsiveness demanded by modern applications.

Kaspa Technical Edge

10 BPS
Crescendo Upgrade

10 blocks per second since May 2025. The Crescendo hardfork achieved what no PoW network had done before.

~$0
Near-Zero Fees

Nano-settlements require fees smaller than the value being settled. Kaspa's blockDAG abundance makes this structurally sustainable.

PoW
Nakamoto Security

The nano economy can only be built on the most secure foundation. Kaspa inherits Bitcoin's battle-tested proof-of-work model.

100 BPS
DAGKnight Target

Sub-100ms block intervals are coming. Nano-settlements will settle faster than a human blink.

ZK
vProgs Layer

Zero-knowledge proofs allow thousands of nano-settlements to be batched, proven, and settled on Layer 1 atomically.

0%
Zero Pre-mine

Fair launch, no insiders, no VC allocation. The nano economy needs a ledger no one can censor or front-run.
